Hello, my name is Brad Schmitz and I am fundraising for a 14-year-old boy named Salih Ari.

 

Salih is a survivor of the devastating Feb 6th, 2023 earthquake that hit eastern Turkey. Salih’s parents and other family members were killed in the earthquake.

 

After the earthquake, Salih became a student in my friend Daniel Okun’s English class in Istanbul. Daniel and I have been working together over the past 3 years doing pen pal projects between his students in Turkey learning English and students in Alaska, USA for my tour company Alaska English Adventures.
